Professional Experience & Education

Based in London, Pat joined Baird in 2023 and brings over 30 years of investment banking experience spanning Europe, the U.S. and Asia. He has held a variety of leadership roles in M&A over the years, including Head of TMT M&A for EMEA at Barclays, U.S. Head of M&A at Jefferies, Global Head of Sales & Divestitures at Citi, and Joint Head of EMEA M&A at UBS. Pat has overseen hundreds of transactions, including dozens with multi-billion dollar transaction values. He was a pioneer in building and developing sellside specialist teams within bulge bracket banks in Europe and has authored numerous publications on topics related to M&A deal strategy and tactics. He is a frequent guest speaker at private equity forums.

Pat graduated from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University in Canada.
